But here’s the truth: Our human need for something bigger than ourselves is woven into our search for purpose, identity, passion, and meaning. And yet, we’re constantly told to fit in, to avoid the “weird stuff,” and to never question what truly lights us up.

Today I have been chatting with my good friend Sonka, whilst on a side quest mission to Norwich to change the face of Education!
We have spoken about the children who slip through the net - those dealing with Trauma, Neurodivergence and Additional Learning Needs.........but let's take a look at the 'Success Stories'.
Those who tick all of the boxes of external compliance and seemingly breeze through their schooling experience. How do they feel in adulthood about their education? Lots of interesting discussions to come around education this year, including those who were completely battered, neglected and abandoned by the system, and those who were considered 'more able and talented' - does the toxicity run through both ends of the spectrum?! 🤔
Sonka and I discussed our personal experiences, our reflections from the weekend in Norwich and a beautifully challenging and controversial conversation about diversity and inclusion. 🥰

Why do we all feel so bad?
Our amazing ability as a species to strive forward always exceeds our ability to adapt. Our poor, vulnerable emotional selves are hit with a daily onslaught of subliminal messages from society about what we should want, and messages from the media about who we should be.
We have lost our innate ability to connect in with ourselves and assess what WE need as individuals. Our identity and purpose is locked into our perceptions of what other people think of us .......... and it's exhausting.
My aim, through this podcast is to shine a light on all of the 'stuff' that is kept hidden, repressed and distracted from, and look at some snazzy neuroscience blended with ancient wisdom to support us in returning to ourselves and reclaiming our power.
