This week, I’m joined once again by the wonderful Vanessa Warrington—our venue host and land guardian at Halkyn Castle Wood, and a passionate advocate for alternative education.
We dive deep into why our upcoming Reimagining Education gathering (co-produced by young people and featuring global changemakers!) is so needed right now.
Traditional education is at a crossroads—too often measuring memory instead of true competency, and missing the mark on child development, brain science, and neurodiversity. The result? More parents are seeking out alternatives, home education is on the rise, and innovative spaces like Vanessa’s are becoming the new norm for families wanting something more.
In this episode, we explore:
Why this event is different (and why we’d love to see you there on 16th August—free ticket links available HERE!)
How young people are leading the charge to reshape education for the next generation
The power of collaborative, community-driven learning (for parents, educators, and young people alike)
Why frameworks like Mojo School are essential—not just for schools, but for families and individuals to access wellness and emotional literacy tools, anytime, anywhere
This is the first in a series of conversations leading up to our big event, where we’ll keep shining a light on what’s possible when we rethink how we learn, grow, and thrive—together.
Ready to join the conversation and be part of the change? Tune in now, and grab your free ticket for August 16th 2025!

What’s missing from your life?
If you’ve ever felt like there’s an invisible gap between “doing well” and truly feeling alive, you’re not alone. In this honest episode, I’m getting real about my own journey into the final quarter of the Medicine Wheel—a space I’ve often kept hidden, even from myself.
For years, I’ve been quietly working in this quarter—my own spiritual development. But let’s be honest: “Spirituality” is a loaded word. It can spark images of religious dogma, new age clichés, or even just uncomfortable conversations. So, like many, I’ve found myself moderating my language, skirting around the topic, and sometimes ignoring this vital part of myself.
But here’s the truth: Our human need for something bigger than ourselves is woven into our search for purpose, identity, passion, and meaning. And yet, we’re constantly told to fit in, to avoid the “weird stuff,” and to never question what truly lights us up.
This episode is my invitation to stop dancing around the subject and finally open up the final quarter of the Medicine Wheel—without fear, without judgement. I’m sharing my authentic path and plans to help you (and me!) explore what spirituality, soul, and “something bigger” really mean, in a way that feels right for you.
Ready to take a closer look at what’s missing? Listen in, and let’s start the conversation we’ve all been avoiding. Your journey to wholeness starts here.

Ever thought you’d “done the work” only to find yourself triggered out of nowhere?
This week, I hit record in real time as an old wound surfaced—linked to my childhood and my years in the fashion industry, where my sense of worth and boundaries were constantly tested.
In this raw and honest episode, I share what it’s like to experience a trigger while it’s happening. We talk about:
Why triggers still pop up, even after years of personal growth and shadow work
The importance of honouring your gut feelings and physical cues (your body always knows!)
How to activate the power of the pause and check in with yourself before reacting
Why boundary work and self-worth are lifelong practices, not one-and-done achievements
The reality that even coaches and leaders are always learning, growing, and being tested
This is your permission slip to be human. Healing isn’t linear, and the journey is ongoing—there’s no finish line, just deeper layers of understanding and self-compassion.
✨ Whether you’re new to shadow work or a seasoned soul explorer, this episode is for you if you’ve ever wondered, “Why am I still getting triggered?”
Spoiler: You’re not alone, and there’s nothing wrong with you. This is how we evolve.
Tune in, take a breath, and let’s walk this path together. Your triggers are teachers. Honour your journey. 💛

This isn’t just another episode—it’s the real, raw story behind Mojo School’s creation, recorded live at our very first Medicine Wheel gathering at Halkyn Castle Wood, North Wales. 🌳✨
Join me, Jane Bellis, as I share the truth behind my 25-year career in the fashion and beauty industry—what looked like “living the dream” on the outside was actually fuelled by people-pleasing, perfectionism, and a trauma-driven need to achieve. I was working 16-hour days, ticking off bucket list goals, and totally burning out… until my body and mind finally said, “Enough!” (Yes, hospitalisation was involved.😬)
In this episode, I open up about how stepping away from that toxic world led me to deep self-development, healing, and ultimately, my true purpose: creating Mojo School. I explain how the Medicine Wheel framework became my roadmap for balance, wellbeing, and real transformation—not just for myself, but for everyone I’ve supported since: from the homeless community to high-flying business leaders, parents, teachers, and young people.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re “doing all the right things” but still feel out of alignment, unfulfilled, or just plain stuck—this one’s for you. We dive into why so many of us feel out of balance, how important it is to be truly heard, and how safe spaces, community, and the right tools can help you find your mojo again.
Ready for a dose of honesty, hope, and a fresh perspective on what it means to thrive? Hit play, and let’s get real together.

Have you ever stopped to think about how something as simple as your hair can shape your identity? 💇♀️🌈 In this episode, I dive deep into my personal journey with my hair colour over the years and how it’s become a powerful part of my authentic expression.
From the first time I dyed my hair (spoiler: it was a game-changer!) to the bold and vibrant colours I’ve embraced over the years, I explore how each shade has reflected a piece of who I am. 💖 But it’s not just about the colours—it’s about what happened when I stopped dying my hair and the revelations that followed. 🪞
We’ll chat about the "superficial" elements of ourselves that actually play vital roles in how we see and feel about ourselves. And I’ll take you back to those younger years when so many of us were boxed into society’s beige, copy-paste moulds instead of being encouraged to shine as our true selves. 🌟
This episode is your reminder that embracing your authentic self—whether through hair colour, fashion, or any other form of expression—is a journey worth taking. 💃✨
🎧 Tune in now to explore the power of self-expression, identity, and the colourful journey to finding your mojo!

🎙️In today's episode of The Art of Feeling Better I delve into the subject that we avoid at all costs
......that which shall not be named
..........shhhhhh - we don't talk about it!
.......Self-Compassion. There, I said it! 😎
THE most important topic, and ironically - for all the raging people pleasers out there, the only thing that we should actually be focussing on if we want to truly show up and help others ❤️
It starts with us - and once we do the inner work, the ripples will roll out into every area of our lives, including our families, friends and communities. It's the only way to truly heal folks 🥰
Join me today as I share some important burnout support tools (from personal experience as a master of burnout!), and some fantastic creative activities to help you get into the zone.
I've included some of my Mojo School content here as my free gift to you so show you that you are worthy of love, compassion and healing.
I see you 😍✨ If you'd like to get access to the good stuff (for less than the cost of a daily Freddo 🐸) here's the link: Mojo School Medicine Wheel Pathway

Why do we all feel so bad?
Our amazing ability as a species to strive forward always exceeds our ability to adapt. Our poor, vulnerable emotional selves are hit with a daily onslaught of subliminal messages from society about what we should want, and messages from the media about who we should be.
We have lost our innate ability to connect in with ourselves and assess what WE need as individuals. Our identity and purpose is locked into our perceptions of what other people think of us .......... and it's exhausting.
My aim, through this podcast is to shine a light on all of the 'stuff' that is kept hidden, repressed and distracted from, and look at some snazzy neuroscience blended with ancient wisdom to support us in returning to ourselves and reclaiming our power.

Your Host: Jane Bellis
You can call me Mrs Mojo 😎
Think of me as your Holistic Wellness coach, your inner growth guide, and your pathfinder to freedom.
I have worked in the Holistic Wellness and Energy Psychotherapy space for over 25 years, and have spent the past decade bringing together science and spirituality and translating the ancient and the cutting edge into a language that works for everyone.
My big passion lies in supporting culture shifts in communities, families, schools and workplaces around mental health, emotional intelligence, resilience and wellbeing.
'The Art of Feeling Better' podcast and book have been designed to create a regular support and sharing space to connect, share and grow our 'feel good' toolkits.
